Our team is made up of past clients and current contractors — people who sat where you're sitting, struggled with the same problems, and came out the other side with the scores they needed. Collectively, we span over 1,000 years of teaching experience and over 1 million classroom hours.

We hire past clients because nobody understands the student experience like someone who's lived it. They've proven the methodology works on themselves first. Our team members improved an average of 150 points on their own GMATs before joining — and they include graduates of Harvard Business School, Stanford GSB, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Columbia, and MIT Sloan.

Isaac Puglia is the founder of The GMAT Strategy and host of The GMAT Strategy Podcast.

He's been in test prep for 24 years — starting with tutoring middle school students while in high school, then five years of SAT prep, five years teaching GMAT and GRE at TestCrackers™, and five years at Manhattan Prep™. After struggling with the GMAT himself, he developed unique approaches that earned him a 99th percentile score. He founded TGS in 2019.

Isaac is a UC Berkeley graduate and believes every student deserves access to world-class education — regardless of budget.
